NEET 2023 Answer Key officially released by NTA

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently published the answer key for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)-UG 2023 on its official website, https://nta.ac.in/. The NEET-UG 2023 examination was held on May 7, 2023, using the pen and paper mode and was conducted in 13 languages nationwide. This exam acts as a standardised and comprehensive test for admission to undergraduate medical programs at all medical institutions.

The NEET (UG)-2023 examination was conducted by the NTA at 4,097 different centres in 499 cities across India, including 14 cities outside the country, for a total of 2,087,449 candidates. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the provisional answer keys, scanned images of their OMR answer sheets, and recorded responses on the official website for the purpose of challenging them.

To challenge the answer key, candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200 per answer challenged. The payment can be made through various methods, such as debit card, credit card, net banking, or Paytm. It is crucial to understand that challenges will only be taken into account if the processing fee is received before June 6, 2023, at 11:50 p.m. The NTA will not entertain any challenges without the receipt of the processing fee.

A panel of subject experts, appointed by the NTA, will verify the challenges raised by the candidates. If a challenge is legitimate, the answer key will be updated and used for all applicants. The final answer key, determined by the experts, will be used to prepare and declare the results. It is important to mention that individual candidates will not be informed about the acceptance or rejection of their challenges. No more challenges will be accepted after June 6, 2023, up to 11:50 p.m., as the final answer key following the challenge process will be regarded as the final version.

Candidates are advised to often check the NTA’s (www.nta.ac.in) and neet.nta.nic.in official websites for the most recent information and alerts on NEET (UG)-2023. Candidates can reach out to NTA at neet@nta.ac.in or by phone at 011-40759000 for any additional explanations or questions.
